In our office, bone reconstruction operations are performed both with autologous bone grafts, i.e. taken from the same patient, and with homologous grafts, using the bone banks.
Regenerative interventions were also performed using adult stem cells from the same patient with more than encouraging results. Regenerative interventions are also performed using both osteoconductive and osteoinductive synthetic bone substitutes. An example is the "sinus floor elevation" which allows the insertion of implants in the posterior areas of the atrophic upper jaw, or "split crest" operations, ie an increase in the buccal vestibule bone diameters of both the upper jaw and mandible.
All interventions performed using the piezoelectric surgery technique.
